Looking for input.
I've been thinking about getting a striker fired 9mm range toy.
Recently I tried the Strike one Speed and liked it quite a bit.
Pistols I'm interested in are the Walther PPQ Match , Strike one Speed and maybe the SP01 Shadow.
Please don't tell me to get a Glock.
thx

The SP-01 isn’t a striker fired nor a polymer but since you don’t want a Glock, get the Shadow.

The Q match is a nice gun but is quite pricey compared to the other 2.

I’ve not tried the Speed but I have shot the Strike One. The only 2 I saw in competition failed miserably. I heard the Speed is an improvement but I really have no experience. The super low bore axis is cool but the Shadow sells the same thing and is a proven platform.

If it can't be a Glock...the S&W M&P 2.0 isn't bad either. That would be the Skoda then...better than Lada, no GTI yet.

Aside from Glock - the leader in this area, for obvious reasons - you might take a look at clones - including the Shadow Systems MR918 and MR920, the PSA PS9, and the Zev OZ9 - as well as the CZ line... such as the P-07, P-09, P-10F, and P-10C.

If you liked the Strike One, you could also check out the Stryk B. I wanted a polymer striker range toy as well and that is the direction I went. If it didn't get the B, I would have got the optic ready PPQ, 320X5, or Glock 17/34.

My retired Pastor has an M & P, and it not only fit my hand well, and shot well, but made me realize I like steel guns better. Still if you want plastic, handle one. Trigger was OK too.
