Heckler & Koch P9S

I appreciate the advice, but I believe there is a legal way to do this.

There are a few around that have extended barrels. Definitely not cheap but they are a wonderful gun. :D

Also, mags are not that easy to find either but Numrich does have them new for $79 US. They used to show up on Ebay once in a while.

I had a P9S in .45 acp, sold it in 1990. f**ked myself out of the 12.6 category:(, kicking myself ever since. However, the USP and the Mark 23 that I presently have is a superior design and more accurate IMHO. I shot the target version 9mm with the barrel weight way back then. Nice toy. Good luck finding one, post pics if you find one.

Thanks to you all for suggestions and comments. I'll try to find the target P9S (but not for 6K). My interest is really in collecting. I have a P7M8 and a VP70Z and I'd like the P9 for its roller-lock. H&K made a lot of interesting designs. I know I can get the same thing for less money in the CZ-52, but you know how it is with us collectors. Thanks again.

Comment on P9S

Classic, second only to the P7.

I decided to add a roller-locked pistol to my collection, and since I've been able to get a P70Z and a P7M8, I thought I'd get the P9 instead of the CZ. I'm kind of sorry that HK has finally started manufacturing Browning-derived pistols, even if they are very good. I liked their engineering inventiveness. If I could get a P4, I would. Regards. Dave
