Have you tried an older 870 Wingmaster??? You may have a nice, smooth action IN YOUR MIND, but try an older Wingmaster and you will see what he means.

Yes I have sir.

I have never had a problem with my 870 SM since I opened the box. I am quite pleased with the action on mine.

It wasn't super smooth at first, but after using it for a while it is pretty smooth.

Anyway's. I don't want this thread getting in a debate over which is better. And yes I know the wingmaster has a little bit better quality to them, such as the furniture quality, other then that I am not to fond of the blued actions and bbl's on the wingmasters. I would feel bad taking something like that in the bush with me. It would be all woren out in no time

Coincidently, so are the guns The factory just finished them and they leave in a weeks or so. So they should be here middle or end of October. Pics in the next few days.
