I recently bought a Ruger PC9 Carbine. Great gun.
I want to get a 9mm handgun to go with it. I'm leaning towards the SR9.
Just because I like Ruger's quality. But not finding a lot of accessories for it.
Anyone know where I can get this sort of stuff? Or should I just go with a Glock?

The Ruger takes Glock mags, for convenience sake and accessories I would just go with a Glock unless you are one of those folks a Glock doesn't fit properly

The SR9 is a great polymer pistol with an exceptional trigger. It's a great choice if you just want a range plinker, especially for those with small hands. I own three (1 x 9E, 2 x SR9) that I will never sell. However, if you want to compete there are probably better choices.

If you decided to get an SR9 I would try IRG's or the EE.

what exactly are you looking for when you say accessories?
magazines?
holsters?
pistol light?

im assuming your talking holster as pistol lights are universal same with anything you'd put on a rail.
and magazines can be had from Cabela's or most other gun stores.

SR9 trigger was the worst I had ever dealt with. No indication when it was going to break, just creep creep creep bang. At least M&P and Glock is more like a 2 stage and there is a noticeable stop before it fires, you can stack and actually shoot them accurately. Not so with the SR9. Sold that one fast.

^ I suppose it's the difference between a rolling trigger pull or not. I love the sr9 trigger, and I always modify my Glocks.

Accessories, you can get mags and holsters, sights are not that common up here. SR9 is a great choice in my opinion. I'm on my 4th, every time a sell it, I buy another - so the one I'm on now is a keeper.

Pushing 14K rounds through mine. Some extractor wear causing occasional FTEs, but only with hot Titegroup loads for some reason. Magazines are expensive and hard to find but show up on the EE now and then, Can't carry anyway so holsters have been a non-issue for me. Compared to a CZ Shadow II the trigger is junk but that's not the biggest factor affecting my accuracy anyway.

I had one of the earlier SR9s and it was a very nice pistol, nice and slim, shot well but it had a lot of malfunctions, primarily it would eject but fail to chamber the next round. Tried every thing, different ammo, different mags but alas, still with the issues. Got rid of it. Also, I was not very fond chambered round indicator, I found it to be quite obnoxious.
I would go with the Glock. The PC9 can accept Glock mags and you will be able to find any Glock accessory you wish with relative ease.

I have both the SR9 and G17 and really prefer the SR9. I cant recall any malfunctions but the rnd count is pretty low. I'm selling both to fund the Ruger PCC. Sent you PM if you're interested. Good luck.
