Anyone in Canada offer free shipping on 2 or 300 dollar orders of Federal Top gun ? I can get it here for 69.99 or so a case but have to drive a couple of hours. So looking for other options as well.

Thanks.

Don't take this the wrong way but 300 bucks for a load of shotgun shells is nothing for someone to give free shipping
I cannot see you doing any better than Ross in NB which I assume you are talking about
Lawry in Ontario would be one of the cheapest and they are 67.95 there
We would order them 80 flats to a pallet and yes those we could get a break on shipping but not free
Cheers

I will more than likely deall with Ross but i thought i would ask as i often see people talking about buying rifle and pistol ammo with free shipping on orders over 300.

I have heard from friends doing the ordering, that pallet loads of Challenger ammunition are very attractively priced for club buys. There just isn't the margin on low priced shotshell ammo for free shipping.
Shipping is never really cheap in Canada. With pallet quantity the unit cost for shipping is smaller.

I've never ordered from Tenda (I'm close enough to pick up) but their free shipping policy includes ammunition and doesn't say anything about excluding shotgun ammo.

When it arrives, put it on a flat. Problem solved. :)

A case of shotgun shells(10 boxes) is called a flat. Problem still not solved. :)
$300 worth of target loads is 4 flats....if you could get free shipping with that as a minimum we'd all be ordering. I just picked up 14 flats for the upcoming season, 10 in 12ga and 4 in 20ga and still need another 6 in 20ga to get through the season.

Yes, my reply to {edit: NOT} you was written with tongue placed firmly in cheek. In actual fact, a case is 20 boxes, not a flat at all. :)

Also, just a case in point (see what I did there?), Tenda does sell flats, it's in the bulk ammo section. Whether they will ship for free or not, I am not a Tenda spokesperson, one would have to query Tenda directly.

The prices that I see for ammo on the Gun Dealer website look very good to me, from a Saskatoon perspective.
Winchester AAs for $100 a flat, less the $2 a box rebate when available, would be about the best deal in Canada.

I never thought I would say this, but $100 for AA’s is not bad.

The Gun Dealer has really good prices on ammo. Those $100 flats of AA's are a really nice price but the Browning BPT's are $10 bucks cheaper and the speculation is that they are the same shells. I say speculation because the manufacturer evidently won't verify that and the Browning's are marked "not for reloading" but Winchester is supposedly making the ammo for Browning and guys who have cut the hulls open say they are the same as AA hulls. I've not done this but it would make some sense that they would be the same.

Shipping is our biggest issue by far in western Canada. I buy 20 flats or more at a time, and pick it up when I pass near my supplier, to avoid making extra trips.

Last time I got free shipping I ordered $14,000.00 in shells.

But local. Some decent deals around if you look. Buy during the 2$/box AA rebate. (It’s American $$ too)
