Got most of my peices picked out for my MDI build.

Was originally looking at just an aero percision buffer tube kit.
But i dont want the spring noise in the buffer. Any options, other than goong to a JP silent capture set up?
Any tube specifically design to be quieter? (Coating inside or somthing?)

I put Slip 2000 EWG (grease) on the spring. Not a lot, just a few beads on the exterior of the spring. It does wonders to reduce noise - I'm sure any decent quality grease would do the job.

Stealth recoil spring is a less expensive solution to consider. Many vendors carry them in Canada (True North Arms, CTC supplies etc.)

Even a JP buffer spring will reduce the noise, last I checked they were around $15 bucks or so USD

I hear that spring and it makes me smile. First time I shot a C7 I had three observations, turns out I can shoot, my face doesn't feel like I was punched gently in the cheek a few hundred times, and every time it went boom, it went boing. So, (being able to shoot) + (no C1A1 face punch) = BOING!

Just leave the spring out, you don’t need it anyways If spring noise is that noticeable to you over the sound of gun fire.
