Hi Leigh
Are you still planning on sourcing fixed stocks for those of us that expressed interest? ....really really hope so.
Thanks
R
I know, I can read.
Leigh also talked about sourcing from other places/airsoft.
How many guns could you do in a day? and do you test guns in house? Just trying to get an estimate when I may be able to send mine in.
I'm just asking, because say when you call me to send my gun in. It won't be 2 weeks before you will see it.
It is taking about 45 minutes to do a rifle from start to finish. If they need a bit of tweaking then that time goes up a bit. As for when to send them in, I will post here for those of you that want to have us install the barrel but as of this week, please hold off. We are doing our best to get the barrels and complete guns out so that we have clear space in the safe to store the rifles you guys will be sending in.
I'm patiently waiting, IIRC I got in line mins after the pre-order went live.
Only regret (in hindsight) is, I would have bought a complete gun from you with the 9" barrel rather than doing the pre-order & having to wait to send my rifle in to have the barrel done... Would have had a 9" barrelled rifle quicker seeing as how your rifles will be done first... Mais, c'est la vie!
Looking forward to hearing from you Leigh. My rifle sits unfired awaiting all nine inches, lol! Let's get 'er done!![]()
Cheers
Jay
Not *super* difficult but certainly not a novice job. The two things we have noticed when testing / tuning is to polish the chamber really well and cut the extractor notch properly. Other than that I am not giving advice or instruction on the install in case it goes sideways and you want to hold us liable. Sorry.
I will post a quick picture on how we will be 'pinning' the stocks open. It requires a 7/32nds drill bit and a 3/8" #6 wood screw. Super easy and very discreet.
#1 - Remove the stock from your rifle and set it to the length to make the overall length no less than 660mm when re-installed on the rifle.
#2 - Using the 7/32" drill bit drill through the plastic ring in the location in the picture. It is only about 1/8" thick so don't go too deep. There is a steel washed under the plastic, do not drill through it.
#3 - Screw in your 3/8" #6 wood screw. The tip will touch the steel washer underneath so be careful to *not quite* screw it in all the way or you may strip the plastic and bugger it up.
#4 - Re-install the stock on your rifle and go shoot. Lots. Shoot a whole lot. Piss off a Liberal.

Has anyone got their LW 9" GSG 16 barrel in, and can comment on the accuracy, and reliability?
According to the Canada Post tracking I should have mine today or tomorrow. Should have it installed by Sunday night. Will report results as things go.
Cheers

Got my completed rifle in the other day and was wondering if it was supposed to come with a thread protector for the end of the barrel?
Has anyone got their LW 9" GSG 16 barrel in, and can comment on the accuracy, and reliability?
