Putting a Gun Safe Where You Want It Shouldn't Be a Mammoth Task
What if you had to fit something in your house that was nearly five feet tall, four feet wide and weighed nearly 900 pounds? Talk about an elephant in the room!

Choosing the right gun safe for your unique space can spell the difference between a destiny of ease or frustration.
Now imagine that you had to navigate that elephant down into the basement (Whoops! Watch your head, Jumbo!) or upstairs and into the hall closet (Try holding your breath, pachyderm).

That's what it can be like trying to keep your guns and other valuables secure in a traditional, welded safe. Doing the responsible thing isn't always easy, but as poet Edwin Markham said, "Choices are the hinges of destiny." Choosing the right gun safe for your unique space can spell the difference between a destiny of ease or frustration.

AVOID THE ELEPHANT IN THE LIVING ROOM
Gun safes vary in sizes and shapes, but one thing they're not is light. (Remember the elephant?) Nor are they typically inconspicuous, so a traditional gun safe may become the focal point of your living room décor - putting your valuables on display to anyone looking in the front window - just because it doesn't fit anywhere else and it's too difficult to move.

But what if, rather than one big behemoth, you could break it down into manageable pieces, like that old saying, “taking bites of the elephant”? That’s where a modular safe comes into the picture.

Top 3 Reasons to Choose a Modular Safe

#1: EASE
EASY TO MOVE AND ASSEMBLE

#2: VERSATILITY
STAIRS AND LOW CEILINGS ARE NO PROBLEM

#3: SECURITY
SNAPSAFE® MODULAR SAFES CAN TAKE A BEATING AND WITHSTAND THE HEAT

What is the heaviest piece of a modular safe?

  • On the Titan, the heaviest piece is the door at 92-lbs.
  • On the Super Titan and Super Titan XL, it is the back panel at 140-lbs.
  • On The Super Titan XXL, the heaviest piece is the back panel at 180-lbs

Do you have an idea of what shipping would look like for one of the underbed safes to the GTA? I don't want to shell out $600 for a safe and find out shipping is another $300.

Looks like around $80 to GTA, for the largest underbed safe.
Of course you can always pick it up from us as well, but this is not that bad considering is 150 lb.

Cheers!

I may be slow and my reading not so good lol...

But I’m not seeing any fire or water rating on these??? Is there any and if so a direction to look?

Mainly looking at the under bed models.

Thanks.

Hello,

What would shipping cost to Edmonton for the Super Titan XXL Double Door Modular Safe? I have the space (could actually use another 18" in width), and am seriously considering this upgrade from my current Homak cabinets considering the forthcoming change to "secure" (vice "safe") storage requirements. Might as well get ahead of the curve...

I'm also curious to know what shipping costs would be for the super titan double door to Calgary. This looks like the answer for the super-narrow staircases in our house.

Shipping rate to Edmonton give or take:
DDXL - $125 CAD
DDXXL - $150 CAD

Will you folks be carrying the full line of Snap Safe products, such as the under bed, trunk and in-wall safes?

I gotta say, your pricing is truly impressive.
The XXL stateside is $560USD + 36% exchange + 5%GST is $800CDN +/- ... AND THAT'S BEFORE YOU HIT THE BORDER.

Even with shipping out here to the wet coast it likely wouldn't run much more than $810-$850 with GST & shipping since Ont. doesn't charge PST to BC residents.
I'm wondering though how long your special will run...months end???

Wow - That is really reasonable shipping! I am becoming quite excited about this option for getting a big honking safe into my "Gun Room" (rather than several smaller safes). Maybe not this month, but soon...

Good question. The smaller safes are not fire and water rated as they just do not have room to put in the lining that is providing the fire protection. Otherwise there would be very little storage room left.
