Quebec CFO told me , too many applications ,I still have to wait few months.

Guys, I don’t think the OP is talking about the Transfer but his PAL/RPAL application that is taking so long.

I had a guy here in B.C. wait almost a year for his. Told him to contact our MP, Mark Strahl (CPC). He got his RPAL within the week!

I called today, they are still processing the application submitted in september 2019.

111 days since the RCMP received my application (mid-November 2019). I'm trying to upgrade my PAL to a RPAL.

mine mid- december . you need wait 2 more months . I need wait 3 more months . damn , I need forget this . they just tell me more

Time to reach to your elected MP and consumer protection and complaint. Posting here won't change a thing. Contact these 2 with a details timeline and conversations along with the page on the RCMP website that says "45 days". This might get things moving a bit faster.

My Rpal RENEWAL took exactly 7 months in Quebec.
This province sucks for legal firearms ownership.
I purchased a new Shadow 2 on February 11. I'm still waiting for the transfer to be finalized.
Now with the covid 19 stuff happening, we'll probably see a shut down. Maybe I'll have my Shadow by the end of summer.

bought handgun in Ontario in Dec, and got my papers at end of Feb. took another 2 weeks to get my ATT in,,,, ridiculous, should have bought online instead and had it delivered to my door. First person didnt even answer my E-mail to forward me the proper forms to fill out for ATT as I could have picked it up on way home from vacation. luckily second person I talked to was efficient and forms were settled in less than three hours, and ATT was printed up, but had to make special trip to go pick it up.
 
This week it will be 2 months i am waiting for the transfert of my CMR-30 i got from SFRC.

This is the longest ever, this country is fvcked up beyond what i thought possible.
