Any feedback on these? Great price but not much in the way of reviews that I could find. I’ve used the RN Hornady 180gr with good results. How do these compare?
Thanks!

I have a box of 500 but not tried them yet.

If you want some to try I can mail some if you pay what they cost in bulk plus whatever Canada post charges.

Gracious offer, thanks, but for what they cost I might just buy 100 with my next powder order. If feedback is good I’ll buy 500 or more...

I've tried these with four different powders in a well used 303 sporter model.

With this rifle I can't offer comparison to other bullet offerings from Speer or Sierra in 180gr however a couple of powders and this bullet produce 1 to 1.5 MOA with my son behind the wheel.

These bullets are not very consistent in weight from what I remember but for well used crowbars it wouldn't make a difference anyways. I am moving onto Speer bullets. Weigh more consistently and not much more than the Campro's. Would trust the on field performance of the Speers if that's something you ever need to consider.

FWIW,

Regards
Ronr

I've shot the campros through several different rifles, they seem to be accurate and they thump pretty hard (split a 12'' block of concrete that we use as a target for plinking).

They are a purpose made semi round nose jacketed hunting bullet. I suspect they are made by IVI. (You can draw your own conclusions...). They shoot OK, but are not leaders of the pack.

I see that Budget Shooting Supply sells the 180 Speer for a lot less than the 180gr Campro. ($34 vs $40)

https://www.budgetshootersupply.ca/...ifle-bullets-projectiles/303-caliber-311-312/

I have done some shooting with Lee Infields of various vintages and have also used 303 bullets to load for a Mossy Naggat.

Only my new Irish Contract rifle shot well with the HPBT Match bullet. All the others did much better with a flat base, round nose, with the 180 (or 174) FBRN being the most reliable.

IN a MN, a round nose bullet might not feed from the mag very well. A pointed bullet being a better choice. Preferably with a flat base.

Thanks! Bought a few hundred each of Henry’s Speer 150s and 180s. Noticed powder is getting awfully scarce...

Can't speak on those specific bullets but I shoot a hell of a lot of their 124gr (9mm), 230gr (45ACP), 158gr (357) and 240gr (44). I'm nothing but impressed with Campros producs and prices. Some companies charge more than double for lead bullets than Campro does for their high quality products.

just seen these on the Stores website down under, Cam pro 180gr 303. quick search found this...

any one used in the ruger 1? do we know what size they are 310? 311?
im using my ruger 1 open sighted now to dampen the issues ive had with it an shooting 'groups'... down here they are $65 per 100...... im down the other end of the country tho so +15 post dampens the froff a bit... for hunting 100m , sounds like a go er!
