No offence dude but the goverment pays 100 percent for the distribution of those products to drug addicts who keep overdosing then come back for more free kits or try to kick it and get free methadone so they can collect disability. I know addicts who have overdosed numerous times but it doesnt seem to be a big deal because tax payers keep brining them back.
Trump is giving almost every American $1200... we are practically getting jack S**T from JT... since CANADA is Very reliant on its oil and gas industry, hate it or love it, we are going to get screwed much worse than America. Not to mention the useless clown we have for a leader...
Then if you look closely at the 82 billion that is being thrown around, you will discover that it is mostly smoke and mirrors. Over 50 billion will show up as a cost int this year but that same amount will show up as a "surplus" next year. All because of delaying the income tax payment for a month. There was an article about this in one of the newspapers from Toronto recently.

Most agencies have made the switch across North America. All have seen 70-80% decreases notwithstanding the free fares. Hopefully Calgary Transit increases security as there are now less routes and frequency to cover.
San Francisco is the only agency I talked to that has seen an increase in vagrancy on their buses, but are working to mitigate with security now.
That's your daughters fault most likely. I have 3 kids, and we were getting baby bonus for each one by the time they were 3-4 months old - and they back pay baby bonus. My guess would be she either didn't apply at the earliest possible time or she didn't file her taxes (they hold baby bonus if you don't file your taxes). Of course there is always the possibility they ####ed up too. Either way, in general, getting baby bonus is not hard nor does it take a year under normal circumstances.
No. Trump isn't doing ####. Congress is. And they're not doing anything yet, because as usual, Congress can't agree on anything. Besides, $900cad bi-weekly is more than $1200usd a month, even with the exchange rate.
On top of that, giving almost every person free money is stupid. Only the people who are directly impacted should get anything - I'm working from home now, so my income is secure for the time being, I shouldn't be getting free money for no reason and nor should everyone else who's still bringing home their regular paycheck.
If it takes a few months and who knows how much money to figure out who get's what..... it won't help either.
Your going to be paying for it down the road so take the money that you don't need and donate it to a local charity or business in need.
How much is child payment anyways these days? What can a family of say 5kids earn or rather get per month these days?
He does seem to be enjoying his new role of serving daily mid morning platitudes.
He must be almost done with his self quarantine..... it is rather telling that he makes people wait each day when all he has to do is walk out the front door, no travel logistics or security needed.
The scene a few days back with the kid's skateboards and scooters rusting in the snow bank speaks loudly of the values he's passing on to his kids.

Baby bonus depends on your income level and province. It also depends on the age of the kids (kids under 6 get more money). In BC, the max for 3 kids is around $1600 I believe, maybe a bit more, and it's higher in Ontario. They keep changing it every few years and mine has been changing every year as I went from university to a job mid-year to a full year of employment (your rates are based on your tax return) so I'm not entirely sure though. I'm pretty sure there is an online calculator somewhere...
As for any free money, such as the baby bonus and gst increases that I might be eligible for, I've got student loans to pay off, so the only place I'm "donating" that money is right back to the Goverment. I can't really start saving for a down payment to buy a house until I get that monkey off my back and I'm already in my 30s so I really need to get on that if I ever expect to own something AND retire at 65 without a mortgage.
