Any Probs putting Busnell Elite 3200 scope on a T/C Triumph or Omega?

Hello...

New member, first post.

I have a brand new Bushnell 3200 Elite 3-9X40 with the Firefly reticle and I am looking to mount it on a T/C Triumph or Omega (which I still have to buy).

Does anyone know of any issues in that type of set-up? I have read another post by a guy stating that he had problems sighting in his Bushnell scope because he maxxed out the windage adjustments. I am assuming this problem is due to a poor mount...but I am wondering if anyone knows of any issues of mounting my scope on a muzzleloader. Will the recoil cause me scope problems?

Given that muzzleloaders usually don't get shot that much, recoil effecting your scope isn't that likely. What is more likely is that a hot loaded muzzleloader will drive that bushnel into your forehead. Eye relief is short, no matter what their ad copy says.
 
I had a Bushnell Elite 3200 2-7 on my Omega; after getting smacked in the head enough that I needed a Tylenol, I decided to go to a Burris Short Mag Scope with 4 1/2" of eye relief. The other problem I had with the Elite was the length; it was just a wisker away from the rear sight and a b**ch of a thing to get even a bkini cover on the scope.

The only Elite I would use on a muzzleloader from Bushnell would be the Elite 3200 3-10x40; it has 3 3/4" of eye relief and my 375 H&H has not smacked me in the head yet.

Dude, why did you mount your scope on the end of your barrel, "almost touching the front sight"? Or are the new 3200's 24" long?:p

The only problem mounting on a ML is you have to go high enough to clear the hammer. I have no recoil problems with my Burris FF2.
 
do yourself a favour and get a set of Millet rings for your scope, as they are adjustable for windage.
