Any gun shop should have 'em or can get 'em. Won't be cheap though. They're difficult to find because the demand is low due to the high cost of jacketed bullets.
I have been using the 115 Gr. Remington jacketed bullets, but was considering tring the copper plated. Only thing stopped me was the 500 quantity in case they didn't work out. Do I decipher from your post that they don't?
Not really. They should work in most of the handguns but not all. Depends on the feeding ramp design. In my case what works best is RN-FMJ. Now as far as accuracy goes I cannot tell because I didn’t even try plated ones.
Hello There,
For me, the best source is Gobles in London. They carry a selection of Campro projectiles which are accurate and uniform, but only copper plated. I use the 147 gr. for a very accurate load in my Sig P226. I bought 1000 in August for about $109 and have been impressed with their uniformity and accuracy.
