Beretta 92FS poor accuracy

untill you pick up anothe 92 and are able to shoot it well I wouldn't blame this gun just yet. I have also shot and grouped well with all those other guns you have mentioned..... but i can't shoot a 92 for crap, I have tried 3 or 4 on seperate occasions.... It just doesn't work for me.

Have you tried shooting it off a sand bag?
I find different grips/ guns sometimes need getting use to, BTW, I shot 92's, and did not do good with it, gun shot fine.
The grip did not feel right to me.

If you can't get it to group the answer it's something you're doing wrong. Scale back the distance and adjust small things in your grip and finger placement on the trigger.

Well whenever my range opens again, I’ll go shoot some different rounds of varying grain weights and post the results, with a control target either with a glock 17 or MP9 to show that I’m not a lousy shot. I don’t think this is operator error at this point, given how competently I’ve managed to shoot other similar pistols before. And many revolvers.

Before this whole virus mess, there was a shooter at my club who could shoot his brother’s gun great, but didn’t shoot his own that well. I tried his gun, and his gun was fine.

Found the problem - the grip size difference changed his finger position on the trigger, and combined with the way he curled his finger during the press, it destroyed his groups. I got him to try pulling the trigger another way, and that fixed the problem.
