If concealed carry is allowed starting tomorrow, what pistol do you choose?

Since I am somewhat new to handguns I would carry my CZ P10 F with 4 extra mags, until one of my fellow Gun Nutz came along and suggested something different :cool:

My Desert Eagle. I have a shoulder holster I bought from some reason, just need to get a fishing vest or whatever the idpa kids are wearing these days. I wouldn't even need to fire it, just whip it out. :p

Some of the choices indicate that many have not ever tried to conceal a handgun.

Believe it or not, there was a time when IPSC rules required a concealment holster. Shocking? Even more so - it was CANADA that initiated it! Didn't last long as the top US shooters made a mockery of it.

IDPA does require a concealment rig. You quickly find out what works for you and what does not. Being a short ass, my Commander-size .45s and S&W .357 snubs are ideal for me, even tho' there is no BUG (Back Up Gun) category in Canadian IDPA due to the 12(6) thing.

Another thing is the "firepower" and mag capacity thing. The FBI once published data that most gun fights their agents were in occurred at 7 yds or less and did not require a reload.

Here is what I think most of the fantasy thread guys are really all about;

- youre a new hand gun owner
- started at 25 yards
-couldnt hit paper
-adjusted sights immediatly with a hammer, or whatever you could find in your trunk.
- couldnt hit paper again
-compensated wildly out of frustration to hit paper...but cant remember which way you compensated
- hits the internet about how awesome you are
- cant shake the bad feeling in your gut about how bad you actually suck.
-depression sets in cause you hacked your new gun with a monkey wrench
- sells gun on EE for above retail. "few rounds down the pipe, super accurate, super reliable"
-you really believe it's a defective P.O.S
- buys .44 magnum to compensate (or you just become a die hard glock fan boy overnight, because that makes you better right away...., and let's face it,...your more accepted)
- buys laser system for home practice
- becomes a master of recoiless B.S practice laser system in bedroom.
- returns to internet and gives shooting advice.
- actually think that if SHTF, you can make the shot
- no idea that you will actually #### your pants
- once you've shat, you forget the safety (or your glock falls apart in your hand), and you get ape fisted by a gorilla.

Yah.... I'll stick with my Karambit, and run to the gun. No chance in hell I'm gonna get hit by these guys... unless you're JTF2. But those guys dont talk stupid...like most of these fantisizers.

Heyyyy, I got the .44mag first. All that other stuff happened later:p
 
If CC was allowed tomorrow, the red serge heroes who won the Canadian west for the white man, would have every RPAL name in a computer and every time you left the yard you would be strip search with rubber gloves before you got to the end of the street.
