I am looking into get a Semi-automatic 12 gauge. Tenda has a Weatherby 18i Synthetic on sale for $799 and shooter select has a Canuck Victor on sale for $699 . Can't seem to find a comparison on line of these two shot guns. Just wondering if anyone has , or has used these two gun. Would like some thought on these two guns of why or why not to buy one or the other. Maybe there is something out there that would be even better to buy other than one of these. Would also like to use it to shoot some trap too . Any input would be welcome considering all the guns shop are close at the moment ...

That price range , I'd look for a used Rem. 1100/1178
At least O Rings and gas pistons are easy to get as are other parts

Out of those two I would choose the Weatherby 18I as they are made in Italy, which has a much better record of making reliable quality shotguns. The Canuck shotguns I believe are made in Turkey with a much poorer record of quality and reliability, although I hear they have gotten better over the last little while. Still cant compare to Italian shotgun making heritage.

If you buy it used just don’t buy the first generation model. Had one dumped it, forearm was always loose

Thanks for the tip. I'll be extra careful about that. Also, even if I buy one new, it'll get lots of smithing work at Tacord. I'm sure they've seen the issue and can fix the issue. TBH, I'm not a very enthusiastic shotgunner, but I need one since I liked playing 3gun and am looking to get back into it.

I shot a older Franchi for yrs and a nice gun, but those are 2 3/4 " as a rule.
used Beretta 391 of you can find one, 1100 rem, Turkish guns are O.K. Prices are good, parts could be the problem, I would think.
