Whats the difference between a race gun and a regular pistol? Just a lot of high end pricey parts? Easier to shoot?

Build for speed, not necessarily for duty or defensive use.

Had the Glock 20...agree that an SF grip and ported barrel would be nice. But that said the ammo is very expensive so I moved on.
I would really like to own the new Colt Rail Gun.....really like the look of them!

I carry a S&W M&P 9 for work everyday. Its a great gun. When I was 19 my mother bought me a Styer M9A1 and that just feels right in the hand. The sights take time getting used to though. I normally only shoot my service pistol for the "train like you fight" mentality. But I wouldn't give up that Styer for anything. For me I guess its more sentimental value as my mother is no longer with us.

*A1 mainspring housing
*Slide cut for optic--undecided between RMR or Aimpoint Acro
*Suppressor-height night sights
*Red laser on one, green the other
*Ted Blocker "Public Enemies" dual shoulder holster

Even though I'd have no intention of putting a can on this, the high-rise irons are for BUIS and the threaded barrel is really for the extra 3/4" barrel length--these beasts are basically conceived as the "H&K Mk 23" of 1911's.
