So I have a couple of questions to ask about Marlins rifles first one I have one chambered in Remington 35cal , it has a gold colored trigger on it and ones I see now don't is there any reason why? there not gold anymore. Second question what the best model marlin makes chambered for 357

Gold triggers just kind of went out of style, I think. I kind of liked them myself. OP, that 35Rem Marlin is a rifle I've been looking for.

I like 35 Rem, I like Marlin lever guns. So I'm not actively "looking" but if I tripped over one at the right price I'd probably become the proud new owner. I have dozens of firearms on the same list.

JB, if you find any 220 gr Speer bullets, be sure to get them. They are specifically designed for, and the real deal in the 35 Remington.

Speer still produces them.
