Need help identifying this Remington

Hello everyone,
I need your help to identify this Remington which is apparently in 44 Remington or 44W.C.F. caliber. Which model is this and is it easy to find in Canada.

Remington model 14 1/2, I think. Manufactured sometime between 1914 - 1931.

It's a Remington 14 1/2 I believe. Check the right side of the barrel near the receiver for a DCP mark which would indicate it being one of 4000 bought for the Royal Navy during WW1.

I have a similar looking Remington Pump Rifle, a Model 25 in 32 WCF (32-20).

You were very helpful by helping me with the Remington 14 1/2. It is a present for one of my good friend. Unfortunately, the one I found is missing the rear sight elevator. Do you have an idea where I can find that?

Is that a Broad arrow I see on the receiver front, by the serial number ?

Try Western Gun Parts. If they don't have the exact one you need, you may find a suitable temporary replacement. You may also wish to put in a WTB ad in the EE in the sporting arms section. Good luck to you. That's a lovely rifle.

Thank you. Another option will be for someone that own such a firearm to take a picture of is elevator beside a ruler and email it to me. I can then scale the picture and trace the image on a thin piece of metal in order to reproduce it using a file.
