It says M16/M4 right on the body of the drum, but that sure doesn't seem right to me. I think somewhere, somehow the center piece that actually inserts into the magwell, got swapped.

I'm just curious what it's actually for, as I don't have any firearms it actually fits.

What is the part number on it? I looks like a KCI AR-15 type drum mag to me. Might be able to track down what its for using the part numbers on it

Has the user manual labelled as an AR15 mag, but it doesn't fit an AR15. It lacks the notch for the mag catch on the side.

Yes, this is a "Beta" clone magazine. They come in the 3 basic cartridge sizes, 9mm, 5.56 and 7.62. Then each mag is capable of having a variety of individual towers for various gun platforms. I haven't owned a Ruger Mini 14 gun in a lot of years, but it appears that's what this tower is good for. Only testing it in the gun will confirm.

I am thanking the gawds there is a rivet in the mag to prevent a full capacity to be placed in this thing. Who knows what havoc would be wreaked should it be capable of containing the proper 100rounds. I will sleep easy this night.

The rivet is bent on the inside, maybe someone made it hold 6?

I'm scared to try, something bad will happen if it does hold 6.

On a related note, I don't own a mini 14. So perhaps it's time to buy one...
