Wait, so I get permanently banned for "spam" Even though Youza has posted at least twice as much as I have in this thread?

Another user even told an IRG employee to pull her head out of her ass without issue?

Classic CGN.

Never change.

Admitting you have already been banned and created a second account should yield great results. Assuming it wasn't the third one...

Youza.

So did you, offensiveness is subjective and in the mind of individuals. Any comparison can be picked apart but this core fact can't. I gave you a concrete example of this but you didn't seem to grasp it. In other words, everybody's level of sensitivity is different but no one has the right to not be offended. Hissy fits and virtue signalling are not productive and sometimes embarrassing

Your 'concrete example' compared a virus that is doing no good for humans whatsoever (depending on your stance on population control) to someone being murdered with a gun and shutting down CGN. Your logic is only valid if we condone gun violence and crime on the forum. We do not. That other guy, who my "missed the point" comment was directed to stated that some people do not show symptoms, as if that was a good thing. Its actually worse. It provides a better opportunity for spreading to more people, especially those who are more vulnerable.

I also live in Canada, pay my taxes and work for IRUNGUNS in Canada. This mag has no political agenda, not meant to offend anyone, not meant to upset all those sensitive souls out there. A customer asked for it, I myself thought it looked badass and loved it! I am actually shocked at all the comments on here against IRUNGUNS. Really, some people need to settle down and stop taking everything so personally. Calm down people.

Carolyn - IRG

You guys *could have* offered something topical that was also constructive and witty, but you didn't. On top of everything else wrong with this item, it isn't even clever. I mean, that design is not unlike offering a commemorative 9/11 magazine by putting a generic image of an airplane on it. Are you pro-covid-19? pro-healthcare workers? Whatever the message is, it's lost in an uninspired design obviously cobbled-together as quickly as possible to capitalize on tragedy. That might be the worst thing about it. I mean, aside from it being a cynical ploy to sell a crap quality mag to edgelord dummies a an insane markup.

Here's just two of a dozen different things you could have done:

a mag with a caduceus on it (that's that staff with two snakes that represents medical knowledge) and/or a red cross;

a mag with the virus in crosshairs; and

most importantly, a portion of sales going to doing something constructive like buying masks or food or medical supplies.

Politics aside, you guys absolutely suck at marketing and public relations, and insulting your customer base is just inexplicable. You're starting to make CTD look good.

Youza, you have your feelings and I have mine.
I’m sorry that I hurt yours. Don’t let your emotions get the better of you! Enjoy your time of quarantine and reflection and wonder to yourself does any of this really mean anything? Or am I just extremely bored? Lonely? Mad at the world? At the end of the day, none of what you say really matters to me one little bit! I hope no one in my family perishes because of this virus! I am frustrated with the actions our government took or didn’t take and how we have been lied to from the very onset! But this shows me how as gun owners in Canada we are our own worst enemy!

There ya go irunguns. More interest. My idea sounds like it will get you more customers. What will the initial design setup cost?

Taken to extremes, on mag would glorify intentional murder which requires willful human input, while the other glorifies an indiscriminate virus which requires for the most part accidental human input to spread. Interesting how you compare these

I totally support your right to create and sell what you like, but as this is a forum designed for you to interact with your customers, I am going to state:

My opinion is that this is in poor taste.

Just as I stated that your Remembrance Day sale was also in poor taste.

If you were to memorialize this event, and support those who are in distress dealing with this crisis (fundraising through proceeds) my opinion would be different.
I have no interest in stopping anything that you do- but I don't like it, and as a potential customer, and operating in a free market, it is worthwhile that you know.

You didnt offend me Ajax. Did i sound offended at any point? I've been quite calm throughout i'd say, merely trying to set perceptions straighter than they are for some. I find many confuse a bunch of issues and behaviors, or are pots calling the kettle black.

I havent used insults.

I have more free time to chime in sure. Im not mad at anyone. Im merely expressing a view, like many others, that this is quite distasteful considering the situation. We dont have to agree to stay civil. This seems lost on many here.

Cheers

Youza.

My concrete example was how something that takes place in someone's head is not other people's problems, and I explained that pretty clearly or so I thought. It still stands.

People are finding really unique things to be doing while spending all this time in isolation. I wonder how exciting his life is outside of a pandemic.

Yeah life gotta suck. When you gotta constantly make a new email address, just to join a forum, you keep getting punted from.

But then blame the forum..

Why would you want to "glorify" either?

Wow and I thought the circular firing squads was a thing of the loony left. Seriously it's dark humor people. Its like me re-labeling a bottle of Bacardi 151 "Pandemic 151- Rum Flavored Hand Sanitizer". We're just trying to lighten the mood in these dark times. If these came out a month ago nobody would be screaming.
