So I see lots of bulk deals on 12 gauge buck and slugs but no 20 gauge bulk slug and buck?
I ended up finding 2 boxes of 5 rounds of #2 buck 3 inch but they were $12.00 per box

Ok found a good source for buckshot although it’s not in bulk. I paid 104.00 taxes in for 12 boxes

Supply and demand. The 20 ga. is a pathetic performer with buckshot, and slugs in a 20 ga. aren't much better. Manufacturers probably make 10x as much buck / slug ammo in 12 ga.

20 seems to centre on target loads of 7, 8 or 9 in boxes of 25. Got lucky in Dec and March for sure 10 box flat of 250 rounds total for $70 or less when10 at a time purchases. Remington works foe , challenger didn’t but at similar prices.

My local store just got some cases of Rio 20 gauge buckshot. Decent price to. Hope they shoot good.
Anyone shoot these?

I've had it in buffered and unbuffered (I assume you're talking the 9-pellet #1 buckshot) and the buffered shot pretty well out of a Mod choke out to 25m or so, on the order of 12-15" patterns for 7 or 8 of the 9 pellets with 1 or 2 always another 3-5" out in a totalinconsistent direction. The unbuffered patterned like shyte, very inconsistent...

9 pellet, #1 shot is no weak round. People keep spreading misinformation calling it a "womans round" attacking the gauge as if it is some lame antiquated round.

So its half the felt recoil? That's your math? Time to go back to high school physics.

Guess what, it has 86% of the kinetic energy compared to 00 buck.
