Post covid19 shotgun world

I don't know about other older guys but any disposable income I have won't be for new guns after this runs it's course It will be to help my kids with big bills and current reduced incomes to help recover from this mess
Take care

Where did I say anything about Wallmart and Can Tire parking lots going to be empty? If you'll take the time to re-read my comments you'll see that I said Canadians will continue to purchase Chinese products as long as they are cheap.

Sorry, not giving you a hard time, just suggesting JT has nothing to do with our current addiction to cheap Chinese made products and he will have no bearing on it going forward. Post Covid, Canadian consumers will be chasing cheap Chinese made products more than ever. And that will include Chinese made guns.

Yes I do as does many americans including my two brothers still living there. Making them in canada long term is not the issue today having them is
I hope this was a real eye opener for canada with respect to US relations and I am a yank and embarrassed right now to say that
take care

Myself I do believe if some democrat won the last election America would be embroiled war with Iran.

War and pandemic versus a gripe regards masks.......hhhhmmmm hard decision.....

Post covid the 14” and shorter barrel will reign supreme hahaha!!!

I think cheap short shotguns will sell a A LOT in the next 5 years!

we are either going to have a recession or a depression. Anything that is considered a premium luxury good will see a significant decrease in sales.
Companies with low debt and large cash reserves will survive.

Many companies with a lot of debt will fold regardless of how good their products are.

The liberals have not been friendly to manufacturing or small businesses. Driving away industry forces us to be dependant on forign markets

Not arguing that consumers will still chase Chinese cheapies, however a couple of people I've talked to (auto industry, Cdn manufacturing) suggest that the current China for everything supply chains are being severely rethought. I think China's place on the world stage will take a couple steps back. Pick a good, commodity or industry and I think we will see plenty of deals - new as makers try to re establish their market and used as people sell off to make ends meet. A last impact on the consumer world is once the deaths and other impacts sink into the collective psyche, we might find a lesser focus on consumerism, more on family, people and experience.

And I didn't say that JT was the reason we have an addiction to Chinese made products, just that he won't do anything to change it. We all know beyond a doubt that JT loves the Chinese way of doing things, he has said as much in the past!

No need to apologize, I don't mind explaining my statements but I don't understand why people add things that were never said into what was said!

Princess Auto will thrive, like always, on cheap Chinese junk...Go Powerfist!

As for shotguns, if they are available, the prices will be higher and the CAD$ will be lower.

People still bought duesenbergs during the depression, so as long as there is money somewhere, I suppose someone will make it. I hope you guys are right about the Chinese communists. I fear the world was asleep as they built themselves up, like Germany did pre WWII.

I think we were. I think we are just starting to wake up. Still dozy though.

I think you are being too hard on the Americans, if your comment is really concerning their less than great response to managing the pandemic. I say that because I think the vast majority of governments, around the world, have handled it very badly. Both in the sense of being unprepared and in how they have actually managed in the last 3 months......bad decisions motivated by reasoning other than containing the epidemic happened everywhere and is still happening. Governments of both right and left leaning parties blew it.

If you folks can locate it I highly recommend the title: The Chinese Secret Service

It starts in colonial Shanghai, the fledgling revolution the Civil War struggle and the same time fighting the occupying Japanese Imperial Army on thier back. Then the strange alliance with Stalinist Russia and the terrible Cultural Revolution.

You soon realize CCP Bejjing is in for the long long con game. Well planned out decades ago.
They never truly forgive and forget!

I've always said the the downfall of the western world will be short term thinking, the west plans for tomorrow while the Asians plan for a hundred years from now! It's an insidious process, a little bit here and a little bit there, pretty soon you wake up one day and find out that you don't own your country anymore. That's why I've always been against selling oil companies and other businesses to foreign countries.
