Glock 19 gen 5 ?

They do not make a model with a Canada legal length barrel, so just like the 45 if you want one you will have to import from the US and pay extra for a Canada legal barrel to be swapped out before it comes into Canada

I have done this with a gen3 19 that I imported 5 years ago, because I had a custom barrel made for it that was Canadian legal, and imported it with the legal barrel into Canada

The 19X is an exception because Glock made a Canada legal model for us with a longer barrel, however I dont think Glock plans to do the same with the 19
 
Bah, that sucks. I was hoping for a version like they had made for the gen 4.
Where is the best place to order a gen 5 that has been made legal?

IRUNGUNS will and from what I have read some guys on this forum have already had them import Glock 45 with Canadian legal barrels on them
I think I even read that they will allow you to send them a barrel if you already have one, they would export it to the US and re import it on your pistol
You just loose the OEM barrel, IRUNGUNS says they dont sell them as they are not allowed to sell takeoff, so they just have a pile of them from people that have done this
In my case I bought a customized Glock built from frame only with custom slide etc, so there was no OEM barrel loss on my part

Only other issue is a while ago they also posted that because of COVID they are sold out of every Glock handgun in the country! Dont know how long before that is back to normal

i have the barrel and wil get a g45 when they will get some more.

What barrel do you have? I am thinking of a gen 5 45 or 19 but I would really like the Canadian legal 19X barrel on it, but cant find a source for one.
I already have a 19 with an OEM Glock threaded barrel so I don't really want another threaded barrel
Also not very many aftermarket barrels are listed to fit gen 5
 
the barrel for gen3 or 4 fit a gen5 19 19x 45 pistol glock.

the change was made only between the 17 gen4 and 17 gen5 barrel.

so i will certainly give my glock19x barrel for it and put a lantac threaded one on my g19x.

unless someone is stripping his/her 19x and are selling a barrel that will be hard to find or maybe a gen4 canadian 19 may work as well.

interesting I got some conflicting info then, some companies list their barrels to fit gen4-5 and some I as looking at only say fits gen4. So maybe they just haven't updated their fitment

Either way still hard to find, OEM Glock 106mm 19 barrels gen 4 for a Canadian model or gen 5 for a 19X

the best way is to ask a gunsmith working on glock and glock owners ... but if you ask the company they will you as well. what i do know is the barrel made for a gen3 or 4 glock 19 fits a g19x if a barrel is made to fit a gen4 it will a gen5. still for a g19 of course.

there is companies that are selling in the states OEM barrel for the 19 but they will not be Canadian compliant ...

I don't like how the frame is shorter than the slide on the G48. Then again the nubby barrel on the G19 sucks too. Oh to live in a free country.

This comment always makes me laugh, its 4mm longer so it sticks out like an extra 3mm from the slide

If I put a Canadian 19X or Canadian ed 19 with the 106mm barrel beside a USA model with the 102mm its barely noticeable

I mean if thats the deal breaker your really nit picking
