Oh man, I'd love to attend that ! , but so close to moose season & than 2 weeks later I go for Deer.
I don't think I can take 2 full hunting weeks & another few days for the match with in a 30 day period :( :( :( :(
Well, maybe I can, I'll try to squeeze it in :D

Now I know for sure i can't :( besides above reasons...my broken ankle is healing well....now walking on it, still with cruches, but no pain :D

I'm shoot'n EESA level 3 handgun ipsc match...with still a week ankle, will be fun, not very competitive, but fun :D

but to go all the way out there to hobble around & shoot, :( will have to wait till the next one.

3-Gun Nationals

While we are on the subject, why indeed does the IPSC world site list the match as being in November? Oh, and Seth, please pass on the link to the Nationals site as soon as it's up. PLEASE! Time is oh so short......

Ok fellas,

The site is complete (for the most part - beta with me)

I'm just waiting for everyone's ISP to recognize the new domain (might take 24hours)

www.doubletap.ca is the website... it will host the event info as well as serve to host all other Atlantic Events in the future.

Work with me, the sites pretty bare but I believe it's promising. Tell me what you'd like to see.

Also, once it's live, the fax number for the registration isn't correct, it WILL BE shortly, also the online registration is incomplete.

If you're jones'n to sign up bad, complete the form and email it to info@doubletap.ca

Thanks Guys,

Looking forward to meeting all of you Central / Western Canadian's

Take Care

Seth

Judging from the stages/ranges used, I could show up sunday and shoot all but Stages 4,5, and 11 on sunday. I am not planning on shooting shotgun, and not sure about my leave from work for more than one day. I will contact Sean or Jim to see if this would be possible.

Does anyone know how far it is from Gagetown to the range this is at? I am going to be in Gagetown from 28 Sept till 9 Nov or so on course and woule like to make this. I am going to have my Pistol with me but would need to arrange the loan of a rifle and shotgun. Anyone willing to help me out?

Thanks.

Wish I was able to make it.......best of luck to everyone.

Cheers

I think I blew the rifle part, went and tried something different, VZ58 with iron sights. I had to put the hooded part of the front sight under the plates to hit close at 200m. Front post on the target I was shooting 4 feet high.

I should stuck to what I knew and that was the AR15 that I put a #### load of ammo though...14.5" AR15 that I modded myself, with 1-5X Optics.

From what Ive saw so far, RRA 10rds mags are giving people alot of problems. Not seating in the mag well right, as well as stoppages. I believe I was the only one not running a AR15. Also I seen alot of stoppages caused by no lube or oil on the bolt....

All in all so far fun, Nice to get back into IPSC.....

I used 4 RRA 10 rd mags at the match. There and in practice they worked flawlessly. I did have a problem with one not seating once, but it's the shooter's job to pull down on an inserted mag to make sure it's seated.

Next year I'll be ready, Actually will have a sight on my shotgun and have it sighted in, Use my AR15..... Not the VZ that messed me up...
