Hey guys , my grandfather passed away a year ago and we finally got around to cleaning out some of his stuff from my grandmother's house, and came across some very old ammo, I've never heard of it before so could use some help identifying it, there's a small coffee container with pistol rounds in it that are headstamped w.r.a co 41 SC, and a box of rifle shells marked povazske strojarne 6,5x54 m. Can anyone help me with what these are? Would post pics but still can't figure it out, my wife says I'm computer illiterate lol.
Thanks

Povážské strojárne
Považské strojárne (former names see below) was an enterprise in Slovakia based in Považská Bystrica , an important engineering company during socialism, since 2000 in bankruptcy. In the 1980s he had factories in Kolárovo, Rajec and Čalov and produced rolling bearings, machine tools and forming machines, single-purpose machines, single-track motor vehicles, aggregates for the aerospace industry, gearboxes for tractors and agricultural, road and construction machines. Považské strojárne employed up to 15,000 workers.
Assume you read something about the 6.5x54 Mannlicher Schoenauer.

Pistol ammo, beside Winchester Repeating Arms 1941
Nothing else marked?

Never heard of a mannlichee schoenaur but will be looking. Into it, thanks. I don't think the pistol ammo is from 1941 as the bullet are not jacket just solid lead and seem like they would be older than ww2 ammo, I looked online and the best that I could come up with is, that they are for something called a 41 short colt but I have never heard of such a round

Very popular hunting rifle over a hundred years ago and more:

Still some enthusiasts around. Lovely rifles. Lovely action. So slick I've seen some that would close the bolt by themselves on an empty chamber when you tip the rifle down.

Can you post a photo? Or send me an email and I can link it, but I’ll probably be able to tell you what it is

The .41 Short Colt is just an old revolver round. It would be classified as a "collectible", but a pretty common one...not much value unless in a full box in good condition. The W.R.A.Co. is for Winchester Repeating Arms Co.
