Where to find a Lee Loader?

I'm looking to feed my .303 british as cheap as possible and a Lee loader looks like the best option for that. But I can't seem to find a place that carries one besides amazon which wants $113 after shipping.

So, anyone know a place that can get one of these to my door for under $50?

I suggest checking out Higginson Powder. They are a Lee distributor and have a good selection of Lee equipment. I haven't bought a lot from them, but whatever I've looked for, they've had it in stock. They have a price list on their website.

I would invest in the hand press option over the classic loader as well. I used to have a classic loader in the past and found it only resized the neck of the case and not the entire case itself. It was ok for cases fired from my rifle but cases I picked up at the range would not alway chamber properly. This is just my experience; perhaps others have better luck with it than I did.

That's right.

If you reload anything more than a box a month, you will be quickly buying an inexpensive press, dies and a scale. Buy your reloading tools used, save money.
Lee loader is painfully slow, and not very versatile.

That's a good point, I wasn't too worried about resizing as I was only thinking about reloading the brass out of my Enfield, but didn't think about using other's brass.

If you're going somewhere that requires that you pack everything with you, a Lee Loader is a viable option, but as noted so is a hand press. As far as full length sizing a 303 goes, I'd love to shoot somewhere that people leave once fired 303 brass on the range but - locally at least - that doesn't happen unless it's Berdan primed surplus, so basically it just shortens brass life. Drastically.

Case life was also in my thoughts of reloading on the cheap. Is it a pretty drastic difference?

If I'm half as fast as this guy a Lee Loader should be good enough to get me through until next tax return season, or allow me to slowly scour the EE for what I want while hammering a few rounds out.

higins powders is not tacking call in orders i tried yesterday but he will have your hand tool set

I think you can still order by email, though. Download a form, fill it out, they send back a quote, you pay by EMT (or emailing credit card info if you want but that's not secure). At least, I did this a couple weeks ago.

1st reloading tool was a LEE loader in 303 Br, can't count how many 100's I loaded with it 50 years ago. GREAT TOOL and totally packable, they use to show up at gun shows a lot.
I've also got the LEE hand press and it also is a great tool. A few years ago I took out the old LEE 303 and loaded some up just for fun. Still works well, not a problem.
If I were to take loading stuff up to camp, I'd advise getting the HAND PRESS. It's compact, doesn't take much more room and is very light weight, PLUS using regular dies it also SIZES the BODY, not just the neck. Just a thought.
