Machined AR Lower

Not sure I would be a fan of the bolt release inside the trigger guard like that..... but Wow... that still is very dirty ###y !

That's not a bolt release.

It's quite literally just a bolt. It holds the gun together.
 
It appears to have a side charging handle up at the top on the left side.id say no bolt release

OK right I see that bolt release now...

I've only had my BCM M4 since the CCFR #Billsentme movement last spring... so I am a green-horn when it comes to black-rifles.

Would this sweet looking "franken lower" work with any standard upper receiver ?

Yes. They work better than fine.

The one pictured is actually one of the nicer ones I've seen.
There are some really rough ones out there. Steel parts welded together and such.

But all of them work.

Yeah, it looks like a home built upper too. Maybe three pieces? I don't see how he can get much purchase on that side charging handle with his super awesome Vism red dot/laser combo mounted though. Maybe there's an extended charge hand that threads in.
