Smart move on Glock's part. Kind of neat really.

Thanks, good to know.

Take Care

Bob

My pleasure. Also, the double stack have some pros and cons for the user.

They can be loaded to 10 very easily, because they have room for 17.
They are much easier to take apart, because the internal spines don't block the floor plate inside the magazine base.
They have a stronger spring, and work better to actuate the last round hold open on some carbines.

BUT

The rivet can drag on some firearms if not installed properly, or adequately filed.
Some people do not like the appearance of the rivet on their mags.

I am an addict, so I have lots of both. Singles are good for PPC and bench time. Doubles are a great for IPSC or action shooting.

Finally joined the club. Hate the SR9 mag for loading and way to spendy. Have a shwack of Glock mags coming in from Wolverine........

Only tried these in my TNW Aero 9mm, but it's made specifically for Glock magazines, and the Magpul version works perfectly. So if the Ruger PCC is similar to the TNW in the way magazines work they should be just fine. Decent magazines, feed smoothly, no concerns at all with the 4 I have in 10(15) and 10(17) sizes.

Got my pcc chassis model out yesterday
Around 25 rounds to zero the red dot at 25, adjusted to be high so on @ 50 and another 75 all on steel @ 100
Magpul mags 10/17s, 10s and glock 10s. CCI blazer and S&B 124 gr no issues
When the action is cocked, you are able to pull it back slightly about an inch or so, without engaging the main spring
Allows for a check on the round being fed and chambering through the side
Also tried putting a vortex micro 3x on the rail and would not fit, had a similar issue with an eo tech exps qd
Any QD optic rail mounts which are machined with the “claws” on a ” < > “ preset shape (I am probably butchering proper terms) may have issues in mounting on the PCC rail, vs an optic which manually tightens on and off with looser tolerances

Also FYI my model shipped with a “compact” SR9 mag they are not marked or marketed as such, I was unaware and sold on EE who tried and failed to fit with his SR9

Cheers

Anyone running SGM Tactical 10/33 Glock mags in their pc carbine? Im reading really mixed reviews online, reviews are either 5 stars or 1..

Anyone currently stocking these? I just came to the realization that these are awesome and I probably need one but most places I have looked have been sold out, or charging a ridiculous amount for them which is likely why they still have one or two in stock.

Any pre-orders available with good pricing? I'd be willing to wait a little bit to avoid being gouged.

If rangeview did another bunch of the fudd version @ 699 I would buy in a heart beat
Everytime they come up I kick myself in the bum for not jumping on it. I was hesitant because I wanted to test fire my own chasis model, now that I have I am in. Just wish 9mm was cheaper

Sorry for another TNW user report... but I like my SGM 10/33 mag just fine, feeds just as well as the Magpul type. Only have one because it came with my Aero from Tenda, and I'm not likely to use it a whole lot as it's rather silly having a 33-round mag hanging out when it's pinned to 10, but at least I know it works well. What I'd really like is a pile of true 10-round magazines, Magpul or otherwise, not this pinned nonsense. That would be really compact on the gun.

Yeah, I would prefer one of the original configurations, it is already heavy for what it is, I have no desire to add weight. Plus that original set up is the cheapest one and if I did change anything it'd be for the Magpul stock whenever it is released so no point in spending more money up front on a stock if it may get replaced down the road anyway.

It looks like they have them in stock, $899 is more than I was wanting(hoping) to pay considering some of the deals others have posted about getting in the past though. At $799 I'd likely have placed an order already.

Yeah 200$ more WOW unbelievable that is a huuuge jump ! No longer a no brainer at that price for that model 100% anyone who got them cheap is laughing. Is our exchange really that bad right now ?

my Brother bought one from Cabela's 2 weeks ago.

Yes, I believe they also have them at $899 currently. I'm tempted to sell or trade my Ruger GSR for one, I think I'd probably enjoy the PCC more at the range for plinking, hiking, or backpacking. Lol, gonna have to see what I can sell to raise funds......or hope my tax return is friendly.
