Need help finding a tikka T1X 17hmr short 16 inch threaded barrel

Fellow nutters. I am looking for a Tikka T1X in 17hmr with the 16” threaded barrel. I contacted Stoeger and asked if they could point me to a dealer who has one in stock and they replied by saying “please contact our dealers”. So I did. I have reached out to several with no luck so thought I’d ask here.

Has anyone seen one recently on a dealer shelf?
And if so where?
I’d like to buy one pronto.

I am about to order one through my local dealer who claims a 6 to 12 month wait and really hoping to find one for this gopher season. My 17 ammo needs a transport vehicle. Thanks for your help

I spoke to CZ about whether there was an accuracy difference between a 16” and 20” barrel in 17hmr. They got back to me and said the 16 vs the 20” doesn’t matter in .22LR. But when it comes to 17HMR, they highly recommended getting the 20” barrel, as there is a drop off of accuracy in the shorter barrel.

A drop in accuracy at what distance?
 
Thanks for the input on accuracy. Do you know where I can find a T1X with a 16” barrel in 17hmr?
I have one on order. Would like one sooner as well.
 
FWIW the 16” barrel version of the 17 hmr T1X appears to be special order only as after calling many many dealers none are available and most dealers didn’t know they exist. Some dealers have gotten the 20” barrel version 17 hmr but no shorties.
