Save the .22 Lee Enfield No. 8s

The video link shares a freedom of information request that was put in about these in the UK. The short and long of it is that the UK Ministry of Defence does not sell surplus small arms to the commercial sector, only to other governments. So unless you can convince the Canadian government to buy them, it seems unlikely. The US, however might be another story if you could get them in through CMP.
 
He says in the video and its written right there in the letter that the Ministry of Defense does not sell surplus firearms in the commercial marketplace.
 
Wow...the end of surplus firearms...even a bolt action 22lr is forbidden to pass on to civilians.
 
Seen Mike's video shortly after he posted it. Brough back memories of no7 trainers we used in the air cadets. Even spent some time as a rifle coach during my time with the cadets. Be a shame if these get destroyed.
