Turkey urine

Anyone else use turkey urine to improve their chances of success?

In my limited turkey hunting experience, it's the hard to find FARMED ‘hen in estrus’ urine that works the best. It must be because the farmed birds are so plump, have lots of food to eat & don't exercise.

I always splash some on my hen decoy & then put a dab of it behind my ears so the Toms come straight in to my set. YMMV

Hen urine & Derya MK12 success last year. (Second bird was shot by my buddy.)

I never thought about soaking my hat, good idea!

As for the bull sh1t, I only ever seen the turkeys picking stuff out of cow patties? Never tried it for a cover scent...

Carefully placed cow pattie mud is effective as a cover scent, camo, and attractant. I don't even bother using decoys anymore.
