Just Finished C.O.R.E. - Where Do I Go Now? Help Please!

Hey guys, I just passed my C.O.R.E. with silvercore. I want to go hunting with my uncle this sunday and I need my C.O.R.E. certificate and Hunting number. Where do I go and how long does it take? I will leave like saturday, and I am worried I do not have enough time.

Silvercore gave me this slip with this listed, I do not know what one to go to first or what their hours are. I will phone tommorow but if someone can give me some advice or let me know from experiece that would be great.

This is what the slip says:

What one do I go to for the certificate and what one for the hunters number, let me know even if it is obvious because I am confused..
 
the goverment office will issue your bc hunter number and also sell you your bc license. You need the paperwork from the core course with you plus other picture id to get your number card. I believe there is also a charge for the card these days.

Thanks, I got the paperwork proving I passed. But how long does it take to get the certificate and hunter number? The price isn't important, I just hope I can go hunting this season! Also do these govenmeant places close really early?
 
They print your card on the spot, no waiting, or at least they did way back when I got mine. Been quite a few years. Goverment agencies generally close at 4:30 iirc. call them in the morning just to double check their hours an what forms of id they may require.
 
Take it to the Norland address yourself and they will do it while you wait.
Then take the core course pass number to the Maple Ridge address and they will give you your BC hunter number again while you wait.
Buy your license,tags etc. and your all set.
Could be done in one day if you were at Norland when they open.

OK, to clear it up some more :)

1. Take your test result sheet to BCW at Norland, on the spot you get your certificate for passing CORE. Go in person, don't mail it, if you want it ASAP.

2. Take your certificate to Maple Ridge, hunter number card also issued on the spot. AND you can also buy your hunting license and tags there too. Or buy your license and tags from most sporting goods stores. Remember to keep your Hunter Number Card in a safe place so you can buy your license next year.

2.a Migratory Game Bird license is federal, get it at your post office.

3. Go out and hunt!
 
Thanks for all the help guys, I got my C.O.R.E. completion certificate today but did not have enough time to get my Hunter Number Card. I will do that after school tommorow. All this paperwork and laws make my head spin! :confused:

I understand everything a bit better now so all should work out, thanks again.

Just got mine three weeks ago, you can get the migratory game bird license with your hunter number and tags at Maple Ridge, no need for a trip to the post office.
