Budget scope options

CZ 557 308 and now i'm looking around for a scope.

3x9x40 I think but budget is tight under $800 all in..

What should I be looking at and I don't want to keep saving Just want to grab something to start practicing.

This is the best deal going. I just picked up a low end spotting scope for the range Reg $479 Cabela’s on for $299 with 30% rebate on top of that.

For a hunting 308, I like to use Burris scopes with the multi horizontal stadia reticle. They're not pricey, and I've had good luck with them. - dan

Probably a dumb question: do you figure any problems getting the rebate from an online purchase? I guess providing the 'original sales receipt' being my concern

Use whatever receipt they send you either in the package or what was emailed to you. I have taken advantage of of rebates for items ordered online a few times. No problems.
