Hi there. I’m wanting to upgrade trigger on my glock 17 Gen 4. I’ve already done the .25 cent trigger job, I noticed it made the pull much smoother.
Now I’m looking to reduce the amount of trigger pull and reset length. I hear ZEV tech is what the glock team uses, and I’ve heard good reviews (mostly). Plus the price point is t too unreasonable.
Any other thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

I've got the Apex Tactical kit in my G34 Gen4 and it is a very nice upgrade, not super light but much smoother and a noticeably shorter reset, plus the shape of the trigger is much nicer than the stock trigger. Agency Arms also make a fantastic trigger, highly recommended by those that run them, however I have no experience with them personally but I will be throwing one in a Gen4 G19 I just picked up to give one a try.

whats the .25c trigger job?

As someone else stated, it’s just polishing the trigger internals where there’s metal on metal. Use a dremel and a good polish, I’d explain how to do it, but it’s honestly a lot easier with the video aid so check it out on YouTube. Between the polishing job and a 3.5lb reset it makes a nice difference for trigger pull, but you still end up with all that extra travel.

Whats used for polishing, I could do with some smoothness on my G17

like others said: dremel and metal polishing. I think I used mothers polish or something. polish all trigger parts that slide on metal or frame. dont forget the striker disconnect pin.

to make the trigger much lighter it will need a different disconnector. Take in mind that those dont make the pull lighter but change the travel to pull ratio. the low pull disconnectors will increase trigger travel and become mushier. Iif I remember the dot connector is the best compromise.

to reduce trigger pull further need a lighter striker spring since the trigger pull cocks the striker. cant go to light or it wont fire properly but can go a bit lighter.

IMO the biggest issue with glock is the overtravel ...

That said, I run a zev fulcrum and its better than stock but not much and I mostly like the trigger shoe ..

The best triggers IMO are those from Johnny Glock which you cant get here but can get DIY imported
