Our New Location is Almost Ready to Open - Just Waiting on Ford

We're taking our time getting our new location set up and ready while FordNation tries to decide when to allow small businesses to open. Our Frankford Arsenal inventory is out on display. You'll notice some CamPro projectiles as well, which we're short on because our customers must be spending a lot of time at home reloading. And, of course, we have lots of MTM CaseGard cases to store your new loaded ammunition.

We encourage you to write The Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford: premier@ontario.ca as well as the MPP for the riding we are located in, Belinda Karahalios, MPP: belinda.karahalios@pc.ola.org and your own MPP. Express concern regarding why small businesses who are willing to go above and beyond what Costco, Shopper’s Drug Mart, Wal Mart, grocery stores, the LCBO and others are doing (or not doing) are told to remain closed.

We’re not asking for the floodgates to open and operations will be anything but normal for quite some time. But, small businesses can’t afford to be mandated closed for much longer. Those who take the necessary steps to keep customers safe should be able to operate.

In the meantime, we’re open 24/7 on www.selectshootingsupplies.com and continue to ship across Canada. No contact local pickup is available by appointment.

You're kidding, right? I don't know if you guys have read the news lately, but there's this ####ty thing called COVID-19 that is currently a global pandemic. The reason why places like Costco and Walmart, amongst other businesses are allowed to keep their doors open is because they sell everyday necessities (You know, food, clothing, sanitation materials). I get that it sucks that mother nature had other plans during the period of time you were supposed to open up a new shop, but advocating that non-essential businesses be allowed to have people browsing, touching and in general being within close proximity of others, is stupid. Absolute bold faced greed and ignorance. Almost everyone is hurting during this, but try being part of the solution instead of the problem by actually using your influence for good instead of feeding into the fire of idiocy. You might as well be standing in Queen's Park with the rest of the goofs in Toronto.

Seriously disappointed in you guys for even thinking this is a smart think to ask.

Tensions are high, half of CGN is in the fatal age range of this pandemic so people are taking due caution. Best of luck, hopefully online sales keep you going and I am sure everyone will be happy to check out the store when this is all over. Times are hard and asking people to #endtheshutdown so they can buy shooting supplies seems to some, I am sure, like saying "People can die, as long as I can make money". Its a hard line to know where is too far and where isn't far enough.

Ya know, for someone with the truth you answered surprisingly few questions. I would honestly like to know how you think this is REALLY playing out behind the scenes. If you don't feel comfortable answering these questions publicly because they would make you sound insane PM me, I 100% wont share what you have to say. I just need to know what you think the global illuminati overlords are up to here.

In an effort of good faith, I will also willingly, publicly answer, honestly and truthfully to the best of my ability, a full coherantly worded and thought out explination of my stance on ANY topic of your choosing. If this frightens you please for the love of god STAY HOME... no one is forcing you to go to their store....

Not enough people have died for me to try being a decent human being. I will likely survive and because of that, I think your loved ones are a worthless statistic.

Oh, and its 2852 in Canada, or 217,562 recorded dead globally.
Now before you tell me that its just the old and sick. Everyone is going to die eventually, what if someone gets diagnosed with skin cancer and the next day they get hit by a car. You would argue that it wasnt the car accident... becuase they had cancer, they were gonna die anyways! 100% the same logic.

Yeah, I clearly get the idea, I think you need to get it. There was 209,001 (217,562) MORE deaths than usual, that are ideally, preventable by working together.
You can't get coughed on and catch suicide, or get sneezed on and die from smoking. Is that not enough for you? Do the murders in NS not matter because...like tons of other people died that day.
Death is tragic enough, doesn't minimizing preventable death and suffering matter to you at all?

But I'm spineless because I don't want grandma to die because I wanted to go to the movies.

I am not sure if this thread is so irredeemably off track that any middle ground is left. Why could this business not open, like many others have, with limits of say two customers inside at any one time? Another option would be to have goods handed over at the door with wireless processing. Gloves could be worn by store staff. I agree that having customers pawing over merchandise and blowing snot everywhere is not appropriate, but let's be real.
