Well spring fever hit me and decided I needed another rimfire so I ordered a Ruger American SS, laminated stock with an 18" threaded bull barrel with a rail. Now have to decide what optics to put on.

Feedback from other users would be nice, probably should have asked prior to purchase but these "buying sprees" are urges one needs to satisfy and seldom have to the time to ponder when they hit...(that's my story and I'm sticking to it)

Flame away......

The Leupold Freedom line is excellent, and they have some rimfire models. Very clear, good eye relief, reasonably priced, and lifetime warranty.

You should have jumped at the Bushnell 30% cash back mail in rebate. Some businesses even had sales plus the 30% rebate. I picked up one that retailed for over $2300 with tax and shipping and once I get the rebate it cost me $1012. This is why we will see a flood of new Bushnells on the EE in the next few weeks. Great glass at 50% off

I picked up a new 4x16 Diamondback HP for a decent price. Glass looks good looking out back window, we'll see how it shoots when I get out to the range.

I own several Vortex scopes and have never had any problem with any of them. Just bought the new 5-25x56 Strike Eagle in FFP and its looking awesome so far. Clicks are softer than my razors or PST GEN11s but also way less than half on the wallet
