Now that we know that the new laws are going to be regarding ARs, lets start the debate.

Coyote or Kodiak 180NSR gen 2.

according to youtube they fixed much of the issues of the gen 1. Better trigger, brass defector and AR style cocking handle and non reciprocating.

To an anti-gun fanatic;
Almost any semi-auto can be called a "variant" of the above listed guns.

For example; Any gun that uses AR-15 magazines could be called a "variant" of the AR-15.

This ban could be far and wide.
 
I have a hunch there were numerous models of semi's omitted from this round of confiscation intentionally. The rest will be kept as cannon fodder for the next election as there's not enough time for them to convince the masses that your 30-06 hunting rifle is a "high powered sniper's weapon" just yet.
