Any Defiance deviant reviews or opinions?

For an action designed by an engineer & not by monkey see monkey do-

Montana(Defiance) & Texas(Stiller) Clones are copy cat JUNK.

Borden Accuracy for the win,win.

I had 2 Stiller's and have 3 Defiance actions, so I'm not seeing the copy cat junk he's talking about.

question is how many Borden’s have you,had

if all you ever have is a slow bettle how would you ever know what a corvette feels like to own?

Try reading my post again, I never said anything about comparing them, I said that Stiller and Defiance aren't "junk".

Stiller's-
Spin the Bbl off of your action & look at the circumference of the integral lug battery cam surface-a radius for the bolt lug aft surface to ride on.
Impossible to Time a radius to the primary extraction cam surface(35deg angle) of the rear receiver ring.
Inspect the bolt lug aft circumference as an attempt to make the bolt/action function/time properly-Impossible.

Defiance-
G.H. has never designed, going back to N.B.Precision abortions, but copies others w/o permission on a daily basis.

IF a Stiller or Defiance action is $12-1500,a Borden is worth 2X the aforementioned price by design & function.PERIOD.

CORRECT

gh Glen Harrison has always been a bad guy

back at Tacoma Washington glen stopped the match on the last group of the last day to congratulate the owners of his actions

I was leading and it was calm, everybody laughed but this took 10-15 minutes. Wind came up and I lost to 3rd place and a very big trophy

Glen tried it next time and I stood up and gave everybody with a bat action 20 bucks USA and went right behind him, spent 200 bucks

Stopped by bat machine on the way, home and took them what I had done

They gave me a 400 credit on the action I had on order

the drive home felt good

Glen has always been a jerk

Anyway the comments on the other post ring true for me

Jefferson,
You should have had the dip schit,G.Harrison disqualified on the spot & barred from the firing line.PERIOD.

Look at the JUNK he manufactured at Nesika Bay Precision,as the owner.

History does repeat itself, time & time again.

Those w/ the JUNK....Good Luck!!

he was pres of nesika bay at the time, and did not ask the match director

since I was a visitor and a couple of years experience I kept quiet,

he then approached me early on Friday one time and asked what my problem was, Tom Dickson from bat was sitting there along with another Washington gunsmith who holds a record in Nebraska still. Carefully explained what had happened and asked him to,do it before the match starts so as to not affect that relay for the wind in that 7 minutes. Glen asked if he apologized would I buy one of his actions. I said sure BUT WHY WOULD I WANT TO FINISH NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE PACK, Steve spilled his cases full of powder he was loading and I have had a smile on my face ever since

met 3 of the defiance team at deep creek a while back ,nice folks testing the trigger tech diamond and they were great, did not being up my past with their boss

Lots of experience out there for sure. Mike Allen was the engineer at Nesika back in the day...if I remember correctly. Only heard positives about their shop but as proof would have it, things don't always line up for everyone. BTW, Jim Borden was also working with Nesika back in the day.

someone also mentioned lug size. Implying that the defiance actions had small lugs. It seems this area is often misunderstood and that would be one example. Simply slip over to their options list and you will see you can procure larger lugs! Concern solved.

This choice has some potential short comings but as with most things in life, nothing is free.
