Beginner help

I appreciate your input and you are not rambling lol. Plus trying to find a dillon 750 in canada is not easy, they are sold out everywhere. Now deciding if i should go with dillon 550 or a rcbs for dedicated .308 press

The 550 doesn't make sense if your using for precision as a single stage. The cost would easily cover a single stage press and possibly a digital powder thrower. I have a 308 conversion for my 550 and have never used it. I use my rcbs for my precision 308 rounds for both my bolt and semi.

Agreed.

My 650 is only for 223 & 9mm.

In fact for "accurate" non bulk 223 I use my Forster Coax single stage. For accurate long range (6.5CM in my case) I only use single stage.

For quality rounds single stage is where its at.

I am going with xl750 for 9mm and .223/5.56 and a single stage rcbs for .308

And there you have it: your plan! There is something very comforting about the sound of the cases tumbling in the case feeder while you reload in a dark house at night. Me time!

Sounds like a good plan considering the family side of things mentioned earlier.

I can't help wondering if today's news will alter this plan though. May not have a lot of need for bulk loading of .223/5.56 any longer....

Looks like "3 gun" in Canada will from here on out refer to cowboy action.... I sincerely hope I'm wrong and we can get this nonsense overturned.
