Keep in mind that Liberals see pedophilia as something normal, some countries where the leftist are in power are even considering legalizing it using the same arguments that the lgbt used to get their "rights" and impose their views on the majority.

Chill there bud. I live in a big city with a lot of NDP and Liberal voters. While one in a hundred reeeeee at the mention of firearms, the rest are pretty reasonable once you have a face to face chat with them. I've had multiple thoughtful and calm conversations with people in the last 24 hours who will never vote Conservative but see the holes in this move.

This isn't about "us and them" unless you're at the poles, in which case both sides are beyond reason. A sensible discussion where people might come to our side can happen (and often does) but absolutely won't if you start with a bunch of BS about them being pedos. Would you listen to their point of view if they started with "all gun owners are small-peckered Nazis"?

So take a breath and just remember you're talking to people who don't understand yet, and you'll get more out of helping them learn than feeling like you owned them.

EXACTLY!

Trudeau and the RCMP couldn't protect the people of Nova Scotia and now he's disarming them! The guns used in the mass shooting were illegally acquired and now he's punishing us law abiding citizens! I really hope the Conservatives do something to fight back against this travesty!

It was a sad day in Canada.
 
We need to put all our differences aside and fight this tyranny and oppression of our democratic world through peaceful means but with enough force that they know we aren't going silently into that good night! :)

This was pretty much my line for years, but things change. At this point you have a group of people who, through ignorance or malice, have repeatedly given a mandate to dangerous ideologues that doggedly pursue the erosion of fundamental Western principles, to say nothing of individual freedoms. These are not my people, my neighbors, nor my countrymen. They're not pedophiles, lizard people, interdimensional demons, cultists, or any of the other nonsense I see them being called by fringe elements that make us all look like raving lunatics; but they are, most certainly, useful idiots or outright deconstructionists with a disturbingly pro-authoritarian bent.
