are sig prices way down?

I haven't been checking prices for quite some time, but it seems that Sig pistols are a heck of a lot more affordable than they used to be......

As I said our Dollar is high thus brings costs down. It could even be lower if import taxes were not high

I havent noticed Sig prices going down, where are you seeing these price drops? It would be nice to see a drop with the rise of our dollar but I'm not holding my breath. I've been doing a fair bit of travelling in the States this summer and I usually drop in to any gun shops that I pass. The going rate for a Blackwater edition seems to be between $1000. to just over $ 1100. but here I've seen them priced as high as $ 1800.
It seems pretty obvious that Sig is "dumping" their excess Pro's here in Canada. The price is good though for a much under-rated pistol.
