Who has the best on sks?

Now I feel like that Yugo SKS that I got under 700 is a steal.. It seems like Russian ones will be selling at that price point soon
 
We’ve been paying peanuts for our SKS rifles for a while now... this ban is definitely going to force a lot of people to them as they are probably the only fun “safe bet” semis out there right now...

nine principal models of assault-style firearms are prohibited
as they (1) have semi-automatic action with sustained

large magazine capacity), (2) are of modern design,
and (3) are present in large volumes in the Canadian
market.

So, SKS will probably be around for a few years before they go full confiscation. May be they will save it for next election.

Depend on the next mad man will start a new shooting spree. In the last years I was living in constant fear that a new mad man will start killing inocent people. (I was worried more than Trudeau and Blair together).
 
$750, $695, $700 + shipping for an sks on EE, there's a lot of new firearm alternatives out there for those prices and if Bozo the Clown and his Henchmen have their way down the road, there not going to reimburse you for used firearms that sold originally for $100.
 
ya the EE is rife with guys trying to take advantage of their fellow gunnuts in these trying times

I'll pay 650.00 +shipping for an sks-d with the ak style mag release +1 mag if the rifle is in good shape.
I see surplus Russians have magically jumped in price by 200 bucks in the ee too...… shamefull LOL

ya the local small sporting goods shop has a few sks rifles in stock. I think they are Russians but i'll have to go take a peak to confirm. Prices were reasonably in line with dealers on cgn
Might spring for a Yugo if I can't find a reasonably priced SKS-d

It is 795 now, so it is a good deal at this time, lol. You will probably not find it for 695 anymore. And that grenade launcher internal diameter is about 14mm, so it's not part of the 20mm ban. Russian SKS'ses are going for 450-700 now, welcome to the new world..
 
Some retailers still have them. Just have to brush up on your google Fu.

I own 4 of them. Lowest I paid was 150 when they first came in and 250 for the latest. 3 Russian -1 Chinese.
Given the current prices and the increase in value - I've told my wife I invested in "strategic metals".
If only my RRSP had these returns I could retire...…

As it is, with Covid and the national debt, I am on the 75 year plan.
 
the average norm for an SKS will be $695 to $795 VERY shortly. Very few left in the stores.

Once they are gone.........up up & away !

remember the CHEAP SVT 40.......see how that went................from $300 to $1,000 in a heart beat.
