Safari or impact

Daystate all the way, unless you like fixing things instead of shooting them. The Delta Wolf will be around in 6 months (?), but will be probably be 4k+ if you have the cash and patience.

buy my reasonably priced impact, do the review and then sell it

easy peasy

daystate are great but new folks are going to impact style guns I think

I don't think anything as been published yet. But I'd venture it will be similar to the Red Wolf, or slightly higher (depending on barrel lenght)

I wasn't planning on "needing" another airgun, but with all the AR non-sens, I think I need a Delta Wolf to cheer me up!

I'm probably spending too much time on the web, but the FX Impact reminds me a Jeep Wrangler/ VW Jetta... the owners love them, even though they seem to always be tinkering with them.
- On airgunnation, the MK2 seems to have most of the bugs worked out, but still, half the posts are about people changing this or that o-ring.

From what I have heard it will put out more power than the Safari, have any caliber option and will be pre-programmed for different calibers. You can set your own velocity with the built in chronograph if you don't want to use the presets. I recently bought a second Red Wolf (.22cal HP) and will shoot it for a year or so before I decide on whether or not I should get the Delta Wolf. The HP version I have can be programmed to Safari power levels from what I have heard, but I don't think I will look at getting a programmer.

Are they the only daystate dealer in Canada ?

It's not like there are multiple dealers per brand in Canada.

Daystate has been incorporating electronics into their airguns from the last 20 some years. If you search most airgun forum, problems with Daystate are seldom encounter, and when they show up, it's often end-user errors. As in, taking something apart that shouldn't have been.

sillymike is right. The forums are littered with FX issues, yet little to no Daystate ones. I'm happy with mine. Put in air and pellets and go shooting.

This....

I got rid of my impact and all the ongoing issue...bought an Airwolf and...just add air and pellets. Love the Daystates.

Electronic vs mechanical, is a bit le carb vs fuel injection...

Peronally, for a shooter, I'd go electronic.
- If the gun will be a collector item that will spend its life in a cabinet and you are concerned with parts availability in 50 years... a mechanical would make more sens

One of the guys in our group has a Daystate Airwolf with a electronic trigger. The electronic trigger is just like clicking a mouse. Very nice to shoot. My buddy Kim has a Daystate Wolverine in .303 and he has over 11,000 rounds through it. Most likely be more now. I have a .30 Impact Mk II with no issues so far. I bought the Impact, because I missed out on buying a .303 Daystate last year.
