I view all of my AR related equipment as worthless right now, yet I still see folks asking for the usual "to be haggled down" prices for AR related stuff. Your Elcans, Trijicon, Eotechs and Aimpoints are better left on your shelf right now than asking prices on items that are primarily AR specific (or for the other firearms now prohibited). Mags are in reality worth nothing as are pretty much everything Magpul and the like make (of which I have LOTS). An entire industry has been nuked so items related to are in effect contaminated and not to be touched. All the brass I have for the AR are scrap in my mind, and better saved for a possible better future than trying to offload them at anything but postage plus a few bucks. Maybe I am still in shock and misdirecting my emotions. Thoughts?

I see it as a break on my wallet. Was on my way to my 15th AR. A 300blk, that would cost me another 1500$ easy without optics.

I bought a ruger ranch rifle in .223 with that takes AR mags, seemed logical at the time and now I still have a way to use my AR mags, brass, lead and powder.
Something to consider, it actually shoots quite well. Doesn't make up for all the crap we are dealing with but....

Folks are free to advertise. Or not. Just as folks are free to buy. Or not. Where is the problem?

You must be patient and not get down. The war was declared and the battle has just begun. We are going to win.

No problem at all, just looking for the perspective of people in the same boat.

I might have to do the same thing. Bolt action rifles that take AR mags will increase in popularity probably.

I thought it might be for me to, ha ha ha! Then I decided to build a new precision rifle.

Thanks for the input folks:)

Until they go ahead with banning magazine that could physically take more than 5 (or less) rounds...

I already have a mossberg mvp in 223 an 308 both use ar magazines so for now I will just shoot them, I built a new 300 blk AR15 over the winter I have not had the chance to even shoot yet but I bought all the reloading components so I also ordered a ruger ranch AR 300blk from prophet river to use for now. SFRC has posted they are bringing in a large order of Troy PAR and SAR which are pump action rifles that use AR parts which are all still legal and I can see a massive flood of non banned rifles like the ruger ranch and troy par to replace the banned ones ! The only thing the Liberals did was take away 150,000 and the legal law abiding gun owners of Canada wil buy 250,000 new guns to replace those lost ! I can see many businesses also developing many new rifles to conform to the new rules the Liberals put in place last friday

I have been considering a bolt action 300 Blackout too as I loaded a few hundred rounds over the last year. I should have jumped on the ones listed for sale on the EE earlier this year. I looked at the Troy PAR briefly too, and wondered if they can churn out one for every AR platform out there as a replacement! Unfortunately, I think, and have listened too main stream media outlets reporting that the OIC will be ammended or a new one issued to counter new rifles put out that are not on the list, to in effect play "whack-a-mole" when new ones do pop up/are put into the market. I hope I am wrong though, as it would be disapointing to see busineses develop and produce new firearms, only to see them banned immediately. This is all such a waste.
