Done. Also we need to reach out to all communities like chinese business associations, Filipino community , and others for support.
Especially those that donate liberal. If liberals lost their big donors, that will hurt it.
If we can shift those liberal financial support to CPC. Better outcomes can be reached

Here you go !....the firearm community and the conservatives have not done a good job at attracting the minorities....who trust me, are no longer minorities by number. These votes are giving Trudeau a huge advantage every time. Just stop #####ing about Muslims ( seem to be an easy target in here), and the rest. Unite and not dévide. Just remember, a lot of these immigrants are conservative by nature.

In the short term the best solution is to ensure the CPC forms the next government.

But those of you complaining about "a liberal party with guns" need to realize that's exactly how we prevent this from happening again. Just like abortion and alchohol, banning firearms shouldn't make sense to anyone living in reality.

Tying firearms to a single political party is what makes us such an appealing target in the first place.

My order:

1.Lewis
2.O'Toole
3.Sloan
4.McKay

I will support any candidate that wins and we should all do the same even if we disagree with them. At this point I would vote for a douglas fir as long as it promises to scrap the Firearms Act!

Lewis is an unknown but I'm willing to risk everything on a "hail mary". Voting in another white guy just won't cut it. Gambling on so-called political inexperience worked for Trump. Even Obama was a relative unknown outside of Chicago city politics.

O'Toole is a very strong choice if Lewis can't take the reins and I'd still be happy with him as leader. Just not political strategy happy.

10 members of my family are now CPC membership, and all will vote for Lewis ( they had no choice as i offered them the membership as a gift and a tool for us.)

I will likely vote for Lewis and Sloan as my first and second choices (just not sure on the order). I still think Sloan has the most pro-firearms and pro-Canadian platform (unfortunately means he will be unfairly smeared by the media, and even by some within the party). Can't say as I like McKay or O'Toole, both are just too willing to say or do whatever will get them the most votes and don't share the same backbone as the others seem to IMO.

This was Peter MacKay’s response to Trudeau’s ban, via email to CPC members. Although he condemned the ban, I noticed he didn’t mention rolling it back if elected:

Canadians are still grieving the twenty-two innocent victims of the largest mass shooting in Canadian history. This atrocity has impacted people across our country, and I know back home in Nova Scotia in particular.

But today, Justin Trudeau has chosen to take advantage of this tragedy by attacking the legal firearms community. The timing of this is crass and beyond the pale.

As a Nova Scotian, I am outraged that Justin Trudeau is using this tragedy to punish law-abiding firearms owners across Canada.

Instead, he should be focusing on making changes that will stop criminals and save lives. We need to tighten up border security to stop the flow of illegal guns crossing into Canada from the United States.

Instead of taking steps to crack down on criminal activity, Justin Trudeau is using this tragedy in Nova Scotia to advance his ideological goals.

His behaviour is unacceptable and beneath the dignity of the office of the Prime Minister.

As Prime Minister, I can guarantee to all Canadians that I will never take advantage of a tragedy like this to push a political agenda.

Sincerely,

Peter MacKay

Co-founder of the Conservative Party of Canada

another load of horse#### !........doesn't have the balls to clearly say " I WILL REVERSE THE OIC "......nothing less than that. I would love to see the CPC do the same #### using another OIC...threat them with their own medicine.

This Is official Peter McKay in french:
Si je suis élu, j'annulerai l’intrusion inutile de Trudeau dans la vie des propriétaires d'armes à feu respectueux des lois et je me concentrerai sur les vrais criminels.

Basically he will undue this OIC...don't like the guy fine, but be careful not to spread falsehoods

Member.
Lewis all the way, she would be kryptonite for the giant Turd & I can imagine libs jumping ship because she would be such a progressive choice.
Also believe she's qualified - bonus!!

I agree with this. A strong educated female is what’s needed at this time to beat the woman we currently have in power.

As much as I hate anyone getting hired soley for the sake of their race or gender;

A black woman stands to pull in a ton of votes from the novelty voters.
