Would anyone be willing to spec out a Diemaco triangle style ambi sling adapter end plate for me? It’s near impossible to find one in the states, and I am wanting to see about having a few made up (at least one for this C8A3 SFW “clone” that I’m trying to finish), or at least a close replica.

The C8a3 uses a single straight slot for a sling on the left hand side of the rifle, and the L119a1 has a curved slot on either side. The C8 IUR and L119A2 both use the magpul asap sling plate. I believe the triangle endplate was tested by the CF and can probably still be found on some issued rifles, but it’s not standard as far as I know

They are not in use now, but they were used with the C8A3 to the best of my knowledge. Maybe I’m mistaken, and it was only the Colt Canada UK L119A1?

No, these never made it to military C8A3. They were designed for the Dutch upgrade if i recall correctly. Canadian C8A3 use the same sling strap left slot as the C7A2. UK L119A1 initially used the dual sling strap curved slot. As said above, L119A2 uses magpul mount. Canadian forces have upgraded the C7A2 and C8A3 with a new charging handle and a new plate with round bend rearward sling hooks. The plate with triangular loops is mostly an overpriced civilian thing

Is this the one you're looking for?
