New Trudeau Blair rules on shotguns

this has been a absolute embarrassment if any gun people from outside go through this and read it they will shake there heads in disbelief the lack of knowledge is at a level that unimaginable. The Saami sets the industry standards not some guy that does not know how to measure a bore . A digital calliper at the end of a muzzle is not industry standard. As for the rest with there uneducated comments we’ll stupidmonkey see stupidmonkey do . Please do me a favour and put me on your ignore list so I do not have to see anything else like this again . To the moderator this thread should be deleted.

Burns to be completely totally wrong doesn't it? ;)

The only Saami that will count in your case is if that is the name of the Canadian court judge that hears your case.

epps video and the bore Gage is proof that there are shotguns that are prohib. i am not gloating and have the greatest respect for those of you that are trying to say it is all a mistake. the standards that we have gone by in the past are being thrown out as the goal posts have been moved. the goal post moving has not been in the gun owners favour.

The pro-gun crowd seems more excited about this than the anti’s. Everywhere I go on the net, blah, blah, blah. Shotguns are banned, poor us !

Oh yes I have Shawn on ignore but seen the attachment on yours but it is a waste of time trying to change the mind of this lawyer . Plus he is very busy now trying to find a new law degree after his last big case loss :)
take care

No need for a court case, as the OPP wont be measuring my shotguns.

Government writes the Law, the Courts interpret the Law. It's irrelevant what Blair, the RCMP, and SAAMI say.

Get it?

My friend you have been a gun smith for a lot of years with a ton of experience and I agree with you 100%
Sadly we have fallen to a new lower level of stupid within the group that we have no experience even trying to understand
Funny the old man who was a smith said 40 years ago we would be the last group/ generation to carry on the trade and there would be no one capable of handing the torch to after that
This just nailed it to be true IMHO
Take care and go play with some model 12's . I know I am :)

Model 1897 is the go to here. Thanks for attempting to 'Fight the good fight' against 'Tactical Fudd's'
It's not funny, but they are as hard to deal with as actual Fudd's. Seems like they feel ( perhaps rightly so ) wronged and are quite happy to include as many others as possible in their unhappiness.
Sad.

Yes it sits right next to four of six examples of theses groups below I still own in my case . How about you mr tactical even have any 12(x) bet you don't
What is not funny is how dam thick and self centered you guys are that you cannot see what you are doing and dividing the groups more and more and more.
Lose any this round this 1897 owner did :( once again but only 2 this time since I sold off many in the past few years or that number would have been 40 :(
Keep up the good work

12(2): full automatics
s.12(3): converted automatics
s.12(4): firearms prohibited by former prohibition order No. 12
s.12(5): firearms prohibited by former prohibition order No. 13
s.12(6.1): handguns with a barrel length of 105 mm or less or that discharge .25 or .32 calibre ammunition.
s.12(7): relics

I completely agree we are fighting with each other online like a bunch of muppets. Shiits embarrassing. Stop it. I'm going out to smash some Clay's tonight.

3macs your my biggest source for info on this site. Thanks for everything I hope they dont come after your handguns bud.

Thanks . Many here would like to see me tossed from their comments and they cannot believe a yank would think as I do but I call it as I see it . I have had these guns since the 60's some were my dad's and we have managed to keep them so far but sadly this time I think they are in some form of trouble I am hoping only some new storage requirements vs a ban
take care

Smoke them all :)

OK so I'm trying (emphasis on the word) to get my head around this.
I am completely new to firearms, (have passed the tests, but have to wait until everything is back to normal before actually getting the license )but I had tried and enjoyed firing some Shotguns at clay targets, and had considered picking up something like a Derya MK12 (I just like the look) or another semi auto shotgun after I picked up a .22

Are they pretty much banned now? Or are they all pretty much OK?
(Maybe a stupid question, but the arguments going back and forth are ..lol I completely admit I haven't got a clue about any specs of this stuff)

Thanks!
