Hi All,

I love old Ruger 10/22's and I recently purchased a late 1960s Finger Groove model. It is in nice shape, but it has a missing rear swivel. If I search online, I can find stock images of what I am missing, but I can't seem to locate one...it is like a needle in a haystack. I'd like to complete the gun with this missing original part, but I need some help looking for a one.

My question, does anyone have a lead to where I can find one? I am attaching some links to images of 1- the gun, 2- the front swivel, 3 - an image from the internet of what I am missing, 4 - a close up of the front swivel, and the current butt with the missing swivel. Any leads, or thoughts?

Looks like I am too new to the forum to post an image, so I will post some links to the images of what i am looking for.

Cheers,

Loohooloo

The fingergroove models did sell well in 65 and 66, probably the price difference between the carbine.

The bulk of these stocks were used on the Canadain Centennial Models.

There are pics of the rare checkered and the uncheckered model in the 1022 pics.

Yours is certainly uncommon bordering on rare in Canada. Is yours checkered?

No, not checkered...I think they actually made more checkered than non-checkered because of the Centennial version. I think there were 4400 checkered Centennials produced, and only 1390 non-checkered. I'd love to get a Centennial, NIB or used... or part of the set.

Yes your correct, it's the checkered version in the non canadian version that only approx 500 were produced.
