Do you live in an area that it is legal to step outside and shoot your non restricted firearm? If no, then it's illegal to load any firearm unless you are in danger.

It's legal to have your unloaded pistol in your holster and a loaded magazine in a pouch on your belt though.

It's Saturday night and we've been locked down for a fortnight or two.

Making excuses for that? Instamove to Off Topics where his #### can be calmly debated?

And for the record, I don't use the black triangle to call out some members nonsense. Let it stick up in the full thread.

You can carry strapped UNLOADED in your house, practice drawing, trigger control etc, all good.
Loaded mag with empty chamber is not a loaded gun either. Stay legal and safe.

Wrong, magazine loaded in the firearm even with an empty chamber is a loaded firearm.

Firearms Act - Interpretation
unloaded, in respect of a firearm, means that any propellant, projectile or cartridge that can be discharged from the firearm is not contained in the breech or firing chamber of the firearm nor in the cartridge magazine attached to or inserted into the firearm. (non chargée)

Handling of Firearms
15 An individual may load a firearm or handle a loaded firearm only in a place where the firearm may be discharged in accordance with all applicable Acts of Parliament and of the legislature of a province, regulations made under such Acts, and municipal by-laws.
